It’s prob worth $1000. I looked around at used cars (Hondas or Mazdas or Toyotas with 40-60k miles) and the used car prices are crazy. A 3-4 year old used civic is going for 19-22k, where as a new Kia Forte or Mazda is 22-25. With lower financing rates. I don’t feel good about a new car for a 16 year old.

My 2007 X150 XKR with the 4.2L SC V8 is one of the best cars Jaguar has ever made. Very reliable the four years and 30k miles I’ve had it. My older X100 XKR which I’ve had for 12 years has been made reliable with repairs and improvements, but not near as reliable as the 4.2L cars, and the early X150 was a really reliable platform in general. I've had 2 electric cars and one thing they both did was wear out tires quickly. i3 had to be changed at 10k miles, Tesla at 22k.
